A former regional developer and consultant for International Franchise Solutions, Las Vegas entrepreneur Kevin D. Romney currently serves as a manager with Radiant Solar Solutions, one of the leading providers of rooftop solar systems and energy storage in the southwestern United States. In his free time, Kevin D. Romney enjoys visiting state and national parks near Las Vegas as well as around the country.

National parks cover 84 million acres and comprise 3.6 percent of all land in the United States. The National Park Service offers visitors several kinds of passes to mitigate the cost of entrance fees.
An annual pass offers entrance not only to national parks and wildlife refuges but to national forests and grasslands.
The America the Beautiful Pass covers entrance and day-use fees at more than 2,000 federal recreation sites and is valid for one year.
Children under age 15 are admitted without charge.
Other passes include a lifetime senior pass, an access pass for individuals with permanent disabilities, a volunteer pass, and a fourth-grade pass for any fourth-grade student in the United States.
